What we collect
Our contact, advertising and story forms collect your name, email address, message and the consent you provide. Our newsletter interest form collects your email address and consent record. These entries are stored privately in the site’s WordPress database for authorised administrators.
Newsletter requests
Newsletter delivery is not active. Interest-list entries are marked unverified, and submitting this form does not cause any emails to be sent. We will ask you to verify your email before newsletter delivery is activated. You may request removal at info@adshala.in.
Enquiries and submissions
We use your details to review editorial, advertising and general enquiries. Submitting a story is not consent to a marketing mailing list. The website currently stores submissions without sending automatic email notifications.
Security and technical information
Hosting and security systems may process request details in operational logs. The forms use a signed arithmetic check, a hidden bot trap, one-time challenge tokens and temporary hashed-IP rate limits to reduce automated submissions. We do not store the raw IP address in the newsletter record.
Reading tools and sharing
Your preferred article text size is stored locally in your browser. Listening uses your browser or device’s speech service; voice availability and any voice-provider processing depend on your device. The selection toolbar acts only when you use its buttons. Copying selected article text appends the article URL. Clicking social sharing buttons opens the chosen service, which has its own privacy policy. There are no embedded social tracking widgets in these tools.
Cookies and service providers
WordPress uses necessary cookies for administrator login and site operation. Our hosting and technical providers process information required to operate the website. Launch photographs and feature scripts load locally. External links are governed by the destination’s policies.
Retention and your requests
Entries are retained while needed for their stated purpose, editorial records or legal obligations. For access, correction or deletion requests, write to info@adshala.in or use the contact form. Use the same email address so we can verify ownership.
